Hunter's Writing Showcase

My name is Hunter Cance. I am 22 years old and currently live in North Potomac, Maryland. Growing up, My Dad had always been in Hospitality and has managed many Hotels across the country. He is currently the General Manager at the Ritz Carlton in Santa Barbara, California. My Mom stayed out of work until my Brother and I graduated from high school. My brother is about two years older than me and Just received his MBA from the University of Clemson. We both went to Wootton High School and I was in the graduating class of 2020. Currently, I live at home with my Mom and am planning on looking for my own spot once I acquire my degree. I did 3ish years at High Point University in North Carolina, and am hoping to return there next fall to finish up my degree. I am currently majoring in sports management and hope to someday get involved in Sports Media with a big-time outlet like ESPN or FOX Sports. One of my biggest strengths in school has always been writing and I figured if I could combine that with my love of sports, I would be putting myself in an ideal situation. I have always been a big lover of sports and tend to spend a lot of my free time either playing or watching them. Growing up, I played a multitude of sports but ended up sticking with Football and Basketball where I played at the varsity level in High school. I spend tons of time hanging out with my friends who all tend to gear towards sports as well.
